I had the same gum inflamation in the exact same spot when I got my braces removed about a year ago. It went away in honestly a few weeks or upto one month but it will go down. My ortho told me that it was caused by my teeth moving and my gums moving along with them. But don't worry, it will go away...

I had braces on for a year and I brushed about three times a day, not after every meal. I'm a college student and don't really have the time to even eat lunch let alone brush. I smoked, drank coffee everyday, drank tea, red wine, etc. I didn't use whitening toothpaste and I think I rinsed with Liste...

Haha; I think we are all guilty of this!! I was braced for a year and because of time conflicts between my dentist and I (he decided to only work Tuesdays and Thrusdays which are my day of classes!) I had to get them off early. I'll leave them out for about 8-10 hours of the day and when I put my re...

My ortho recomended that I leave mine on for a while longer. My bite was perfect and my teeth were as well. I'm in retainers now and I haven't had any movement going on. Even if I leave my retainers out for like 8 hours or so, once my retainer is in at night, my teeth don't feel like they've moved a...

Hello! I got my braces of about a month ago...and I had the SAME problem. I started to worry about getting them off to soon. The gap has actually started closing on its own and it's not even noticable even in pictures. I've always been a huge teeth person and even I can't tell in pictures. No one el...

I got mine of a bit early as well. Between work and college and the times my ortho had; I could never get in there when he was! I've actually noticed my little gap towards the top has actually closed up more now that the braces are off. I've been out of them for about 1 month now and it's been worth...

I have had power chains for about 5 months all in all. I like you am addicted to coffee and drank normally, no straw or anything of that sort. I didn't notice my chains stain at all! I wear grey usually and I have no problems with them staining. I'm also an avid Chai Tea drinker and that's black tea...
