Hi everyone, Has anyone had genioplasty to correct lip strain? I have a mild case but I still hate it to me its horrible. I have a chin implant which I feels helps my lip strain a bit however it is resorping and not I want it out. I think my ortho thinks it isn't that bad bc the chin implant is help...

well actually the zoom whitening is when you go to the dentist and it takes about an hour it costs a bit more than the trays. however, i think once a month you are suppose to use a tray as upkeep. although i am not 100% sure on this. If that is the case I definetly will talk to my ortho. Thanks ever...

I was wondering if anyone had experience with zoom whitening while they were still using invisalign. Should I just wait a year until it is done?

For those of you who read my story here is an update. My lip strain is a mild case and they do not recommend doing anything for it. Extracting 4 teeth would make my lips concave. I qualified for invisalign since I just need a "fine tuning" and it really is not costing much more at all :-) ...

I have lip strain. It's not to severe but it bothers me. Putting indivdual situations aside. What are the ways to correct this?

I have read surgery but I really do not want to do that. I was also told pulling 4 teeth would help my lips meet how true is this?

I am hoping I am a candidate for invisalign. I had braces for 2 yrs several years ago. I stopped wearing my bottom retainer and there has been some shifting. Do you think I would qualify for invisalign.... I will find out friday but I am so anxious to know any opinions :-) my midline is slightly off...

I have my consult on Friday. I will find out if I need teeth out to help my lip strain. (I was told that when I was younger). This will be my third time with braces..ugh I'll let you know how it goes.
