i have an invisalign type retainer and the way i get it out is taking my fingers to the back of the retainer and go up to the area the where the retainer meets your gums and gently pull down. Do it with even pressure on both sided. Its the easiet way i find.

cavities during invisalign

Have any of you got sealants to prevent and cavity problems that may arise during the invisalign process. I am considering it because my teeth have deep crevices so I am prone to cavities.

What happens if I don't and than I get a cavity. It throws off the whole treatment??

how do you see bone resorption on an x-ray??

just wondering bc my ortho says i have bone resorption from my chin implant. I just wanted to know what it looks like on an x-ray. I should have asked but does anyone here know??

I am getting a copy of the x-ray for a second opinion but I want to know so I don't seem like a complete idiot.

Yes I will wait if that makes the most sense. I just want everything to work out ok I had braces for 2y and then 6 months 5 yrs later so twice so far and I am only 21 :-(

I just want to make sure eeverything goes smoothly :-)

Thanks! Yes he knows I have a crown and he didnt say anything about it so I assumed it was ok but then i was confusing myself thinking about it.

I am also wondering if I should get it replaced but I will ask at my next appointment before the impressions are taken.

having crowns/caps with invisalign...what happens to them?

I have a crown on one of my back molars bottom row from a root canal (personally i think this is what scred up my bottom row bc it was to big and casued crowning) but anyway

how can invislaign move my teeth with the crown. Will the crown just stay where it is. ?

Thank you for your repsonse bc it doesn't seem like to many people have my problem.
