Reason for mouth now with a bad "cant"?

I have noticed my bottom teeth looking like they are falling to the right on the right bottom jaw. Ortho says it's the "cant" and it's normal. Never had this in my life until NOW! There was a losided thread the other day that touched on this.. Anyway when I talk it looks like I am ...

Pink Elastic found in stuffing...YUK!

Yeah, I snuck my elastics off at the table hoping no one would see as we do and set them next to my plate. Got up to get the stuffing and passed the bowl. My dad made a little noise to get my attention and passed the bowl back looking as if I needed to have a look. Pink elastic looking up outta that...

Yep, this has been discused a bunch here. I've had braces for 2 yrs. now but after the 1st 8 month or so people started asking me if I had lost weight. After about the 5 th person in two weeks or so I realized that in fact I had gotten a narrower face from my braces. Ortho said it was normal. I now ...

I need a implant on a molar. Almost to the end of treatment and I find I need a bone graft as well to do the implant because of a fallen sinus. $8,800 no insurance.   My ortho says that if I don't get the implant that the teeth will shift. He says the retainers hold the crowns ...

WOW!
I have heard that sometimes some dentists charge more for front teeth but that's hard to swallow!

Guess this is the business to be in.

What are you paying for a filling without insurance?

Thought I'd ask here if you don't mind please. I think $223.00 per filling is way to much, small or larger that's what they are hitting me up for.

Something tells me this is way high...?

Ahem, yep lotta shady peps out there. Make your appointment to get them removed as soon as you can. Then find a "orthodontist" not just a dentist and have them done correctly. Your picture shows you have healthy teeth, they have good shape. You'll love how they'll turn out! You can make it...

Well, it's worth it. I and MANY more people out there paid well over $5,000. If I were you I would keep a good feeling about doing this for yourself but I would no matter what go for a second and even a third opinion. Tell this ortho you are taking time to do this. What's he going to do about it. He...

Kirjax, pretty much the same here! "Everything is fine, I don't see anything." (in the whole 7 seconds he looked!) Does make you mad when cavities show up. I understand if the teeth are in such a position where they can't be seen then with movement they show themselves but this guy had x-r...

It is something. I do now notice way more than before the way people take care of their teeth. The way of oral hygiene (sp?) You can tell if they've put a bunch of money in their mouth, how white they are, straight and usually you can tell if someone has had braces in the past. When I see someone wi...

Good luck with that tooth! I would go to the dentist and really have them take a look. Why do you feel it's not a option to have it pulled? I'm up against having them all pulled, in the long run by keeping them the ortho feels they may interfear with the bite. All the best to you with this tooth. Ju...

By the looks of your teeth you'll be fine!!!

If after treatment you still feel the same way the ortho or your dentist can shave a bit off the bottoms and shape them up for you for the perfect look.

Really don't worry, it doesn't look like you'll have any big issues here.
