Congratulations Spidey!!!!

I think we should start a new debraced club tradition: You eat CORN ON THE COBB the day you get them off!!!!! Granted, if they're available at the market

How long have you been braced?

Now ortho wants to take Xrays

I've had a sensitive tooth, upper right canine for quite some time. First it was sensitive to cold, then I went in for an ortho visit and he recommended using Sensodyne. Well it worked, but now I sometimes have pain with HOT! Also, when I apply pressure to a couple of inches above my tooth, on my ch...

Thanks for all your suggestions guys  ! I went in to see my ortho this morning, and he DID say that it was root sensitivity and I have NO cavities or anything else. Thank GOD! He suggested that I use Sensodyne toothpaste, since sensitivity is its SPECIALTY and that I apply it on the gum line of...

"FANG" tooth pain with cold contact!

I have strong pain '' on my upper right side "fang". This happens when I drink cold water, or even laugh and air contacts it. At my last adjustment, my ortho said that it wouldn't happen if I was 10 years older (I'm 35). He said that it has something to do with the root. Anyway, it's...

Wishing you all the best in your pregnancy and Congrats! My husband and I are thinking of it too; have you noticed any special sensitivity in your mouth (other than your gums) since being pregnant? Any significant changes in your teeth? Pain? Was just wondering if being braced and pregnant produces ...

YOU MUST floss by going under the brace. It's very important, if you don't go from underneath, you're not really flossing and your gums and teeth will suffer... I know it seems like it takes FOREVER, but the more you do it, the faster you'll become :-1. don't even use the threader anymore. The floss...

Absolutely! No pain - no gain is what I say!

With the technology of braces today, your teeth are CONTINUOUSLY in movement, but I think that they begin to really hurt once the root has made a significant amount of movement/progress.

PAIN IS WONDERFUL!!!!!! :P :P :P :P :P :P

Thanks so much guys... Whenever I go in for an adjustment, there is always at least 10 kids waiting as well  . It's amazing how busy his office is (he also shares it with another ortho), but I guess it's one of the reasons his feedback is limited. I will definitely make it a point to be pro-ac...

Ortho doesn't tell me much

My ortho doesn't really talk to me about how my treatment is going. I really have to ask him questions. He says things are going well, but I'd like to know more... I guess I'll have to be pushier... He also puts white ligatures on my ceramic braces when he knows that I don't like them because they R...
