Today, I tried lasanga and I could not chew it; I am glad to hear that this chewing thing is temporary. My braces have been getting on my nerves today. It has almost been impossible to eat anything beside cake and ice cream. That stuff is yummy, but I need a hot meal that is going to full me up for ...

Lionfish it seems you do have a lot to floss; I wonder why some ortho bracket all molars while other don't. At first, I thought it would be a blessing that my last molars were left unbracketed so that I can eat with them, but it is still hard to eat.

Thanks Mike and Lionfish, I am really trying to eat regular foods. I like to eat it is just painful right now. I did eat spahghetti from pizza hut yesterday (yummy). Today, I am going to try a lasanga t.v. dinner. Thanks for the advice, I will use it.

Thank you Jennielee. I tried some chex today but my mouth was too tender. I will try them again at a later date. Right now, I am having a smoothie . I see your almost done with your braces; I know you must be overly joyed.

Marvin sounds like your just lucky. I took a OTC med today so I could eat at my son b-day party. I have not needed to use wax today, but use it all day yesterday. I hope your lisp improves for you.

My ortho let my last molars on both the top and bottom unbracketed. Do anyone know why he may have decided to do this? Has anyone else experienced this?

Yes, eating feel weird and my gum are tender now. I am going to check out this forum for the thread on soft food. That is great that you are seeing movement. I did not take before photos either, but I know having braces will be worth it at the end.

I am glad I asked. LadyTrouble I have put a kit together . My Ortho gave me all of the items he felt was required and I went and but some floss a travel bag and vaseline.

I am newly braced and want to know if were suppose to brush after each and every meal? Thanks in advance.
