Well I'm by no means an expert and I haven't even cracked a pack of wax yet, but I know I can get it from my ortho if I need any.

I have also done the salt water rinses, especially after having four teeth pulled, and have had little to no problems.

I had my extractions a few weeks ago and it's so awkward to talk a long time...I get tired. My daughter likes to get 10 books from the library and try to read them all at once. I had to tag team my hubby last time. I'm hoping the gap closing doesn't take too long or I will have a sad daughter.

Like meryaten said, my dentist recommended using tea bags if the bleeding didn't stop within a couple of hours. Can't hurt to try.

I have also successfully eaten: oatmeal, bananas, mandarin oranges, scrambled eggs, applesauce, baked apple, cottage cheese, pancakes, pork barbeque (chopped very small), soups, pasta and PB&J on soft bread.

I have never had it but I have had my wisdom teeth pulled and bad breath aside, the pain was pretty tough for a while. It's my understanding that dry socket causes pretty horrible pain.

Well here's the problem, since I had the extractions my teeth have moved some and now my eye teeth on the right side hit each other when I chew. I would call the ortho but he wanted me to have my extractions at least two weeks before my first adjustment and it's been just six days since the extracti...
