One time I went to my mom's work and a guy that worked there asked me what grade I was in and I told him I was a freshman to which he replied, I thought you were no older than 8th grade. I replied back that I was a freshman - in college. At 30 (now 31) I still routinely get carded for alcohol. *shru...

Wow, the first picture you posted looks exactly like my tooth except mine is on the other side! I get my braces on Wednesday so I haven't started yet but now I know what I'm getting into. I didn't know about the spring. I guess I never gave much thought to how they were actually going to get that to...

I'm sorry I missed all the well wishes. Thanks so much!

I have a question, though. I was told the spacers would hurt for 3-4 days and they didn't hurt at all for the first few days but now ache pretty heavy when chewing and have for a few days (it's day 8 in them now). Is that pretty normal?

Thanks, kiwi! I will try to be patient. It's not always easy. I have multiple sclerosis, too, and have been a bit more symptomatic the last few days and I just feel like having everything said and done would help with the stress and anticipation that I hope are contributing to my other symptoms righ...

Records and spacers are done...

I just had my records appt. last Thursday and got my spacers in. The day before Thanksgiving I get the braces (although I think she said the top or the bottoms will be done first?). I have to have four extractions. I would go get it all done right now if I could. I'm not a patient patient. :D I just...

Thanks for your responses! Yes, the ortho will take payments but as of right now even checking for change in the couch hasn't found me the nearly $200 per month that I need but we will work it out, we always do. Unfortunately other than eBay, I can't work and am in the middle of the disability proce...

Newbie Here - Going to be taking the big plunge soon....!

Well there's no time like the present for an introduction, huh? :D I'm nearly 31. I have been married for 9 years. I have an almost five year old daughter. I have been selling on eBay for almost 6 years and am a stay-at-home mom. I was diagnosed with multiple sclerosis almost 2 years ago so I have m...
