I agree on the suggestion that you can't really wear your Essix too much. My ortho said nights only as well - but everyone else seems to be 24/7 for at least the first couple of weeks if not the whole year. It's different for everybody, but after 9 days I'd definitely try to start weaning off the meds, you mean like you're still taking prescription pain medicine, right? Weaning off the meds for me meant substituting my percocet with Advil and the like till I was able to go without that. Have you tried ...
