Meryaten, I'm not going to argue this anymore because it's a waste of time and I respect your knowledge on this board. Yet, I will defend myself and point out that I never, ever used the wording "bad teeth." I said "less than perfect," and there a huge difference.

That's it - that's the show!!! I think came on for the first time here on BBCA though this month, maybe y'all are a little ahead of us. "chicklet-teeth obsession" HA!! Believe it or not, I understand at least a small bit, we just look at teeth different here in the U.S. But I have always a...

I only really needed help for like a day or two, but I only got the BSSO and you having much more done. I think it would probably be a good idea for you to have somebody around for a week, you may not need them, but it sure helps and you can always send them home early.

“Britain’s Worst Teethâ€

I was just wondering, did anybody here watch Britain’s Worst Teeth on BBCA Sunday night? I did and thought it was fascinating. While personally, I do not nor ever will advocate the installation of all those veneers when what the patient could really use is a couple of years of braces, most all of ...

I agree on the suggestion that you can't really wear your Essix too much. My ortho said nights only as well - but everyone else seems to be 24/7 for at least the first couple of weeks if not the whole year. I'm paranoid because I just looked at an office mate's teeth who said she didn't like the Ess...

I brought my ortho's office a fruit platter, nothing fancy, just like one of those cut fruit platters for snacking at lunch in their breakroom. I picked it up while I waiting for my Essix retainers to be made along with a thank you card - it was nothing big but they really seemed to like it.

It's over my surgery buddies - THANK YOU FOR EVERYTHING!

Hi gals & guys! Just wanted to let you know I finally made it through. After two years and 6 days in braces, one BSSO (advanced 6-8 mm they never were quite clear on that), eight bands and a boatload of complain' on my part - I'm so there. AND IT WAS ALL WORTH IT. Or at least I think it was, at ...

It's different for everybody, but after 9 days I'd definitely try to start weaning off the meds, you mean like you're still taking prescription pain medicine, right? Weaning off the meds for me meant substituting my percocet with Advil and the like till I was able to go without that. Have you tried ...

Darn it, Phil, I hate that about the accupressure treatments. I was getting all excited thinking I might try it, too, but I don't know if I will or not now. Anyway, it's GREAT you've been having a pain-free time, soon the good days will outnumber the bad, and you must be feeling pretty fine to wear ...
