Sarah - you will feel better soon I promise!! I've been braced for 9 days now and I stopped taking pain meds on day 4, I've been able to chew food since day 5 and now only use a minimal amount of wax on one of my bottom brackets, so it will get better! Well, until adjustment time of course!!!

Welcome! When you got your teeth extracted, were you given a local or a general? I only ask as I will have to have 4 teeth extracted at some point and just wondered what the whole experience is like?

I have spacers in my back teeth at the moment and yes, the pain is terrible! I've had mine in since Tuesday 28th Nov and only yesterday 03rd Dec, did I stop taking panadol every 4 hrs! I couldn't eat anything hard, so resorted to spaghetti, yoghurt, macaroni & cheese etc. Oh, and couldn't sleep....
