I had a bite plate in the beginning and mine started falling out after a week. My ortho said I could start wearing it just at night because my bite had opened up that much and my top were no longer hitting my bottom brackets. So this should mean the bite plate is doing it's job!!

From what I have read on here, clear brackets do not stain, it is the ligs that stain. So, if you have clear ligs they will stain, but the brackets themselves will not.

I started out before braces being a clencher, then when I got them on I totally quit...then as my bite has changed I am clenching again. So hopefully as my bite changes more I will stop clenching altogether!
