I have 18-24 months of treatment, individual plan cost 79.95 so in total this will all cost me $159.90 for two years. I'm not familiar with the plan, but I think it doesn't mean that it will cost you $159.90 only. I look at their website, it doesn't say members will get "free" braces. The...

I had my upper right canine extracted when I was in my teen because it was coming out under the top of my inside mouth, not within my arch. Back then and back home, dental braces were very uncommon, then extraction seemed the only choice. So, I grew up with my upper teeth having only one canine on t...

Hi, :-1 About photos ... you need to spend time in the Braces Story Forum and you'll find pics of people who've had teeth removed due to orthodontic treatment. You'll usually find this information on the first page ... within the first couple of posts ... so it's not difficult to do. Good tip from K...

Thanks for all replies. aj , your story about ankylosed tooth is somewhat scaring me. However, I want to thank you for letting me know ahead so I can prepare myself. Had I known about my ankylosed canine, I wouldn't have gone the braces path. Honestly, I think that my situation is kind like worse th...

I may have ankylosed canine :-( w/ pic

Starting of the braces process, my upper left first premolar was removed to reduce the crookedness and to make space for my inward lateral incisor. After the extraction, a power chain then closing springs were used in order to pull the canine to the extraction gap so the lateral incisor would get th...

It sounds like you may getting a TMJ (Temporomandibular joint syndrome)! And so am I! I have similar symptoms you have mentioned. When I open my mouth, I can see that my lower jaw is sideway, not in the midline with my upper jaw. How about your chewing? Is it difficult and/or painful when you bite d...

I feel really desperate. I really tried to love myself, but i couldn`t. it is so hard. kaka I looked at your teeth in the picture, they look a little bit crowded but not so bad that they can cause your depression  I think that your teeth can be fixed with braces. Now the tough part is you do...

It's easy to remember huh! Getting braces on the first day of the month! :-#)
The ceramic looks less visible on your upper and the metal on your lower looks cool.
I'm sure you will see a lot of progress over the time.
Good luck with your treatment.
