I can't believe its already been three weeks! Can I say off the bat that I love my braces? LOL So far no pain, I feel pressure sometimes, that's really all. Everything went great and now I have some new jewelry in my mouth. I was able to be in and out in an hour and after three hours, no rough spots or pain at all. My brackets seem really small --- I thought they would be bigger. :lol: So far so good! I will see if I can manage a couple pics this evening.

Tomorrow am, lower brackets!
Can't believe it is finally here. I have a nine am appt and then a full day of work so it should be interesting.
I will post pics as soon as I can.

Just in case anyone is actually reading this, :) I moved my lower brackets appt to April 18. I have a trip to London and Paris planned in the end of March and I just didn't feel like being a newbie bracket wearer on vacation. My ortho was cool with it, after all whats a few more weeks at this point....

Had my treatment planning appointment with the ortho-----No surprises. He says I have a straightforward case with no serious issues. I am to make an appointment today for lower brackets to be put on and "before pictures". He said we will start on the bottom as I have to have two extraction...

My dental covers adult ortho with a $2000 max lifetime benefit.
I then covered the rest with Flex Spending.
