I'm starting to think the only reason my Ortho praised the Damons, is because they bring in more $$ for the ortho. My Damons cost me $700 more than the regular metal braces...I don't know how much they cost my ortho. And one thing that I don't like about the Damons...they stick out a little more tha...

I have the zigzag in the archwire, too. My canine teeth need to be brought down. I've had my top braces on for 5 weeks and I have noticed an improvement, mostly on the front 4 teeth.

Oh my gosh...red wine makes the inside of my mouth stick to my braces more than anything else. Yes everyone says you should drink lots of water all the time, but you need to have fun, too! I just make sure I give my teeth a good brushing afterwards, and scrape my tongue!
