I got my retainers today. A normal hawley for the bottom and a half size Essix to the top. By half size i mean that the plastic only covers half the tooth, not up to the gums. I asked about that and they said half size is ebough and it is not good if the plastic covers gums.

Anyone else?

I did not have anything special in my mind other than have a teeth cleaning and a checkup. After it was found out that i had two cavities i wanted them to be filled asap. And they were fixed 20 hours later

Removing braces was very fast! I had six ceramic brackets and they came off very easily with some special pliers. It did not hurt at all. Actually it hurt more to remove metal brackets as they dont break when removing them, so you can use more power.... I dont have pictures yet, i will put here late...
