Re: 26/female/bartender tomorrow will be week 1 with braces

Ok. So I'm a bartender by night....and tomorrow will be 1 week since I got my ceramic's on. I'M GOING NUTS. I'm still on soft food....it doesn't seem to hurt AS much but it seems I'm having more problems breaking the food down and getting use to the brackets while chewing than anything. I can't eve...

First off I'm only seven months into a 24-36 treatment cycle. Maybe they're still new enough that I don't dislike them. I'm excited about the good things happening. I have less intense headaches although right now they are more frequent Mike I guess I was lucky. The headaches I had were not intense...

My teeth don't look perfect, but thats because its hard to floss for me, but once my braces come off on Monday the 25, I will floss, and everything. I've come a long way since I had the put on till now. A lot of pain, ...

I have to agree with everyone who said getting food stuck in them.

Luckily I have learned how to chew gum with them in and I don't have any problems.

That's Awesome

That's totally cool that the New York Times has posted the link to this site.

That's something to be proud of, the NYT is no small town newspaper.

Congrats Lynn

Samantha my oral b is the cheap one you can buy at the supermarket and it's brilliant. I've had it for over three years and it never misses a beat. I've also got the same version in a travel model ... it has batteries, so I can take it on holiday with me. The expensive part is the ortho brushes, bu...

I didn't get on at all well with the Sonicare and my post in the Doodads forum reflects that. Since going back to my old Oral-B electric brush which I've had about 2 years, my teeth are back to how they were before. I also use a proxy brush round the brackets every night and use 2 different mouthwa...

Hi Samantha ... my nightly clean includes using an old oral b electric toothbrush with an orthodontic head. First I rinse with listerine whitening rinse, then I brush with sensodyne whitening toothpaste. Then I floss with oral b superfloss ... the type with a stiffened end. Next I use a small inter...

Can anyone tell me about how long that will take? MsViola P.S. will it hurt? 30-40 minutes is about right (That's what it took for me to get...

Howdy, If you do a Search on Sonicare, you will find a lot of information and/or opinions on them. There is a discussion going on now in the Dental Do-Dad's forum on Sonicare. Like pretty much everything in life, you will find that some people really like the Sonicare and some don't. And, some peop...
