I've only had models and X-rays so far, but I'm getting my braces through the Ohio State University's dental school ... $2000 less than most others and it's very close, couldn't beat it. Let me know how it goes for you, I'm anxious to hear!

I had my molds and X-rays before the holidays, so they slowed down the process a bit. I'm supposed to get braces on in February, about 6 or 7 weeks after the molds.

I don't have my braces on yet, so maybe it'll change, but right now I'm looking at it as something I'm doing FOR myself ... if it was my choice, I'd put them on right this minute lol (as opposed to February).

I've planned on bleaching my teeth after the braces are done, but I'm wondering if years of brackets will cause the tooth under the bracket to have permanent staining? Maybe it's better to bleach before and start off pearly?
