I've had 8 week breaks in between appointments. I'm only up to my third adjustment in a few weeks.

Am so jealous. I have had my braces for just over 4 months and I don't see nearly as much change as you - my front gap hasn't closed at all from what I can tell.

The adjustment went well this morning. Next adjustment in 7 weeks I'm going to have an x-ray to see if my canines have moved since my original x-rays.

I don't think that's possible. Taking braces off and putting them on again is a huge operation, would take up a lot of time, and cost you a lot of money.
