Omg..finally i found som1 who has the same kinda teeth as mine...i just got spacers and brackets with wires this week. Am going to be completely braces 29th. I cant wait.. these spacers are painful.... How long is ur treatment.? So far my ortho said.. i dint need head gear but u never know they mite...

Hi all, I am trying to understand how braces work. I got my spacers and upper and lower brackets with the wires this week. I am getting my spacers out and the complete braces on teh 29th. It is surely better than yesterday.. i was able to eat a bit but still liquid stuff... the spacers are not painful all thruout.. just here and tehre but i think just until the 29th till i get my braces on and then am all set to go.. I cant wait till 29th

i got those exact same ones yday.. they do feel a lil wierd now.. i guess i ll get used to it.. and am just kinda scared to go out..i dont want my braces to take over me .. but am a lil nervous....

Finally after soo much procrastination, got my braces yday and am very happy i got it.
I got my upper and lower brackets and spacers yday. I find it really hard to chew anything on the sides. Its very sore around the spacers...

Is it normal?
