Another visit, Another contraption - Updated with Pics

Seems every time I see the ortho I leave with some more hardware, and all to bring a baby tooth where he should have been 15 years ago!! Long story short: I USED to have a great smile with straight teeth. I had a baby canine still with me and an adult canine behind it. Both lived in relative harmony...

Baby Tooth Blues

Hi All I was braced about 2 months ago to correct an adult canine tooth obstructed by a baby tooth. Ironic, as I used to get compliments on my smile. Anyway, we're moving into the next and most critical phase of this, which is the baby tooth (not such a baby anymore) will be extracted and the adult ...

crooked bracket = crooked teeth = crooked ortho? need advice

I have braces to fix a baby tooth problem - meaning I have a baby tooth still in my head so we're making space to bring the adult tooth forward. I'm in the "making space" stage and I've been braced for 2 months now. For my last adjustment, I told my ortho one of my front teeth were hurting...

Guys, thank you so much. The saltwater helps a bit, the wax helps a lot (although I have to practically use aa much as a candle to really cover the wire) and I'm def. going to try that bandaid!!

you guys rule!

i'm never taking my tongue for granted again

my freaking tongue is killing me. i had the expander put on this week and in addition to not being able to chew, speak correctly or generally feel "good", my tongue during speech and resting naturally rests against the bar and it has caused either blisters or canker sores. All I know is th...

Noob here. Howdy.

Hello All, I've finally made the decision to get braces, although I should have gotten them when I was 13 and it was apparent that the baby tooth wasn't going anywhere. I'm now 32 and I STILL have my baby tooth (it's hanging on for dear life) with the adult canine behind it, just dying to get in fro...
