I never feel like that... I'm 16 and my teeth move quite fast.
However, I can understand how you feel. Sometimes when I look at the before and after pictures that people post, I get discouraged and think that my teeth will never look that nice. Don't worry about it though.

Mine is quite high-tech. The waiting room is very modern. When you go to sign in, you go to a computer with a touch screen and you put your pointer finger on, it finds you, and then it signs you in and you're good to go. They also have Gameboys at every station in case you have to wait for something...

Well, I was fifteen when I got them, so it wasn't exactly a big deal for me to have gotten them---half the kids in high school have them.

I didn't tell anyone about them beforehand, so, needless to say, I got a lot of shocked expressions when I got back to school after getting them on.

I'm sorry to hear that. That would get really irritating.

I'm grateful that my dentist is happy with my choice...well, really, he recommended braces to me a few years ago when I was about thirteen, but I didn't do it 'til I turned fifteen.

I'll pretty much eat whatever I want...except for really chewy candies and apples (I'll cut the apples up, though).

Well, I pretty much never talk about my braces or teeth unless someone inquires about them or starts to talk about braces and/or teeth in a general way. I'll contribute to the conversation and answer questions, but I never bring it up. I just don't really see why I would need or want to, but really,...

Yeah. It hurt a lot at first. It definitely gets better, though.

I went trick-or-treating...even though I'm 16.
I'm going to eat pretty much everything I got... maybe not really hard taffies, but I'll eat everything else eventually.

I haven't read any facts on the matter, but I've heard that teeth often get worse before they get better. Don't worry - I'm sure it'll turn out fine. It happened to me, and I'm fine.

Some of my friends have had retainers to maintain their teeth. They all were lucky and born with pretty great teeth, so they only got retainers when they were in late elementary school and early jr. high just to retain those nice teeth.

I like tacos. I can eat them just fine still.

I don't eat breakfast, so I just wake up and brush.
I brush after lunch (when I'm at home) and after dinner.
I brush before bed, too.
Also, I always brush before leaving the house.
