Did anyones tounge hurt with their braces?? It isn't cut it just is sharp pains when I move it or swallow. Please help!

Does 8 weeks seem like a long time between being braced and going back in to be adjusted??

My spacers hurt really bad too!!! They were horrible for a full week! but I have had my braces for 3 days now and they dont hurt half as bad as the spacers did!

I got my braces Wednesday at 1:30!! It took 2 1/2 hours, but I am not having a lot of pain. It mainly is just a pain to clean them out after I eat! Well just wanted to keep everyone posted I may post pictures later on!

I have heard that clear ligs stain easily??

WHat type of foods stain them??

Thanks for the help! You really knew what I meant... Everytime I look it up all I see is the braces on the people with straight teeth... it is kinda frustrating I hope everything goes ok!

and then i will get my braces... my excitedness has been replaced by nervousness. I am so nervous I feel sick. This sounds horrible and stupid, but i am only nervous because I think I am going to look horrible.... I knwo its stupid and I need to get over it.... but I am still nervous!

My spacers hurt for the first week but after that it got better! I was having problems eating things too!! but just take very small bites it helps! Good Luck!
