Elastics: Pain and romance :-/
Hey Archwire Fam :) I just got my elastics after 8-9 months of treatment for an 18 month sentance. He told me that this was the home stretch (I have to wear them 24/7 except to eat). Also, he said after 2 weeks, I should double up. Do you think I can be done earlier? I am in so much pain! Someone pl...

I have been in braces about 7 months now and everything has gone great! Little to no pain or any bracket problems... ...however, for the past week I have had this pain when I bite down on my left side and when I brush I noticed a significant amount of blood. Since the pain is coming from my molar ba...

dark or light stains after debanding?
Ever since I got braces about 6 months ago I have been obsessed with brushing my teeth. I brush at least 2-3 times a day and I use whitening mouthwash once or twice a week. I have taken my braces birthday as the mark of taking care of my teeth and avoiding any more cavities and such. However, has an...

traditional and lingual at the same time?!
Just being imaginative...
I know this probaly is not feasible...
Have you even wondered having lingual and traditonal braces at the same time! Would that double (not only the pain) but the treatment time?
If that was the case, I wouldn't mind the pain and the mouth full of metal!
