Ive noticed the same thing. I think that Its because I have this extra foreign object in my mouth that is capable of stretching. I know it will stretch so I automatically play around with it. When I catch myself doing it I try to stop though.

Congrats on finding out your ahead of schedule!!! Thats great news!!! Ive had my braces for 10 months now and Im too chicken to ask my ortho the big question of "When are they coming off?" Id just like to have a time frame of how much longer!

I always carry my travel toothbrush and mini tube of toothpaste with me in my purse where ever I go. If I eat dinner out I'll even go into the restroom after and do a quick brushing. If someone sees me then oh well! At least they will know I take care of my teeth!
