Mine did this also. They forgot to put on a stopper. After they put a stopper on, my teeth went back straight, then it happened again when they put me in a chain, the stopper came loose, they fixed it and I got my braces off a few weeks later. I would make an appointment soon so they can fix your pr...

I didn't realize 6 months have gone and past since I posted this! Where does the time go? Anywho, I have been braced since Jan 10, 2007 schedule removal for April/May of 2008, have had 3 adjustments and went in for my fourth last week to be told that my archwire didn't need to be changed and that if...

I can't say the same. I think it depends on how close together your teeth are. Mine were difficult to get in so I think that was most of my pain, making them go in she hit my gums. The pain settled after the first week and on the second week they didn't hurt then on the third week they came out and ...

Its been 7 years ago, they are still there but they don't bother me anymore. If the pain is bothering you, maybe you should call your dentist and see what they say abou...

Was the assistant new? Maybe you should tell her, if she doesn't know she is being rough she can't work on being gental. I am a nailtech and I can tell you that nail clippers don't belong in the month, keep them away from the mouth, if you must clip wire before toenails  I did notice they were ...

Everything should be included but might be a good idea to ask your Dr and call your insurance just in case. You guys are so lucky to have dental insurance. We don't have any and out of $6000.00 but worth every penny. :D

I wore wax the day I got braces, as soon as I got home. I wore it 24/7 on every tooth for about 2 weeks. I haven't worn it in a while till the other day when I had movement with my bottoms so I waxed the bands on my molars and went on with my business till after dinner I went to brush my teeth and I...

March 10th will be 2 months for me in my Damons and I feel the same. When they bother my lips I wear alot of wax, all day if I have to, and lots of chap stick. The reason they might be bothering you for the past few days is because they are moving and you got use to where they were at. http://www.ar...

Whoever invented spacers, I am guessing, didn't try them on for themselves. I had to wear them for 3 weeks. They felt fine after the first week or so, but three days before I got my braces, several of my spacers broke so I had to have them put back in and suffer all over again, actually the second o...

Hi Kaka, I have to agree with the others, using a charge card is not the way to go, sure your 18 and are old enough to start a line of credit but you don't have a steady job, you make $3000 in the summer and still can't save for braces due to having to pay for your living expenses which means if you...

The front two were crooked but I didn't need braces. At 21, I had my wisdom teeth cut out and that is when my top teeth shifted 6mm, causing the 6 teeth in front to crowd into each other making the two front worse and I wasn't able to floss any of my top teeth. Over time my teeth became uncomfortabl...

Your wax will help with the brackets rubbing your lips. I wore wax, specially at night, for the first two weeks. Everyone says you will get use to them but I have had mine almost 2 months and I still haven't gotten use them. I have figured out how to eat with them. I carry my tooth brush with me eve...
