I had a dream that my braces came off and looked like rail road tracks. I keep trying to put them back on hoping that they would some how stick. During my anguish my teeth all turned side ways. It just so happens I do actually have three rotated premolars.

My estimated treatment time is 18 months. I have had them on for 1 month, 2 weeks. Today I had my first adjustment and the orthodontist put on the heavy wire for uppers and lowers. He said on my second adjustment he was going to work on my gap, if my premolars have finished rotating.

I have noticed that my mouth has become dry sometimes. I have started to drink more water lately. Does anyone else have this problem and if so what have you done to solve this problem?

My orthodontist told me that I would not be a good canidate for Invisiline and almost half of the patients that do get invisaline end up getting metal braces to finish up their treatment. My overject coupled with a diastima made me Ms. Metal Mouth USA.

Money is not an object but it matter a whole heck of a lot when putting your self in braces and your 15 year old daughter with your 11 year old son following behind. This orthodonitist was willing to work with me if I agreed to bring the children for treatment also. This in return gave him three ex...

I went to three consultations before I heard what I wanted to hear. My braces will cost $2,946 with retianer included. My husbands insurance will pay $1,500. The insurance will pay for the retianer which is $516. This leaves me with $930 out of pocket wich comes from our spending account. I may or ...

Care Credit

Care credit is an excellent thing for and office to have. We have it at the county dental office and i would say 86% of our cash paying patients take advantage of it. If my husbands insurance and flexable spending account were not available I would be using care credit for my braces.

Listeren

Listeren is very caustic to the oral mucosa. It should not be used frequently. Personally I use it in the morning before I leave for work and before bed. I sometimes dilute it with a little water.
