My Braces Journey

I got my braces a month ago and that night I went and had taco salad at a mex. rest.
I MADE myself eat cuz i was starving lol.
I was eating steak within 5 days! It really does help to make yourself eat in the beginning.

I got braces 4/12 so about 2weeks and 3 days. I have gotten alot more comfortable about it and sometimes I do forget they are there. The most I notice is when I'm talking to someone in public and I feel like I may spit on them (as my braces hold spit ew) or just feel that they are noticing all this ...

I have done the same thing as well...
I always used a mocha brown color but it seems to make my braces stand out more and just doesn't look good. I now use a light pinky kinda mauve color...same color as my lips.

WOW That is amazing!!!! You have made great progress. I have a question... The teeth on the sides that were sunken in did they (when you bit down) go behind your lower teeth? My one on top does that and I don't see how it will move since its always going behind I feel my teeth need to not touch for ...

yeah you wouldnt want to rinse or drink from a straw that can cause dry socket where the clot is pulled out and then you could have bone exposed and it can make you hurt SOO bad even cause you be be pretty sick from it.

I'm 2 weeks and 2 days into my treatment and I eat whatever I want.
I had steak last night ate it just like normal didnt even have to chop it little. Ate popcorn last weekend didnt hurt anything. I'm careful though.

I'm getting limited treatment. I'm filling a gap for the front tooth (bottom) I had pulled but my top teeth needed straightened to fix the bottom. I have a few molars on top that have been extracted through the years so bridges would be needed to do full treatment but I'm not caring to even worry ab...
