Post-Op Independence

I was wondering how much help people have needed after surgery from a family member/friend etc.. At what point are you good to be on your own, and would you say its good to have someone awake during the night for the first few nights home? My mom is away for the first week of my surgery, so my Dad i...

long term issues

A year ago when I was told I was ready for jaw surgery- I declined the offer. I felt that since I was not in any severe pain, and did not have any big cosmetic or functional problems-it wasn't necessary. A year later, I am happy and excited that I changed my mind- and my surgery is in one week. In t...

looks good!

for someone going under the knife in 7 days, it is so nice to see such a wonderful outcome!! You've had a long road of orthodontics, so I don't see it as gloating at all. I plan to smile showing my teeth as many minutes a day as possible when I'm done with all of this, maybe in my sleep too! Again- ...

Weight Loss Question

I was wondering if there is much weight loss after about 2 months- (not because of Vanity...I am Bride's Maid in a wedding 2 months after my surgery...and I am not sure if I should wait until after to buy my dress incase I lose weight.)

What is everyone's experience with that?
