Torodol

Oh glad to hear!!! Torodol is a prescription- and its basically a "super advil". The only thing with it that I found, is you MUST take it with a meal or it will likely be hard on your stomach. Otherwise, its just like taking advil but better. I hate taking things for sleeping that make you...

pain

Brandy, I totally sympathise with what you wrote about pain! Its EXACTLY how I felt...nothing excrutiating but just the constant ache that you cant escape. You describe it perfectly. For me, Torodol worked MUCH better than advil. Might be work a try, just taking one before bed to catch up on some sl...

I LOVE using straws, no mess all over my face! Sleeping: I slept on my back for 5 weeks, and then started to go on my side....

sore throat

ok my combo for killing the sore throat if its viral:
Echannacia + Goldenseal
OIL OF OREGANO (miracle worker)
Vitamin C
Zinc Lozenges

youve got the Vit C already, so go to a healthfood store for the rest. This should kill it. Good Luck!!!

weighloss

oh and in response to Brandy's question- I didn't lose any weight from the liquid diet- I've been going to the gym so I might be a bit less from that.

7.5 weeks

7.5 weeks Just a quick update before bed: The left side of my face has been SO achy the last three days, im starting to go a bit crazy. I'm back to constant painkillers, and I'm just wondering when on earth this ache goes away. My prom was Thursday- so my guess is that maybe the constant smiling fo...

gum graft

Hi Charlene, can't really offer much help except that I have had my lower gums grafted, so I can answer questions about that. But...that might be the LAST thing you want to hear about

Good Luck

liquid diet

Brandy the first week on the liquids is the worst. The second week was still frusterating and I wanted food, but the third week I just gave in and embraced it...and me and the liquids learned to be friends. When I was cleared for soft chew at my 5 weeks...It was nice for a bit but I actually MISS my...

pain

With the pain - the amount that you: a)talk b)eat/chew c)angle you sleep at will affect the level of pain In regards to the anxiety- you just have to have faith in your body- no matter what happens you will amazed at how your body adapts and learns to deal with everything. We've ALL gotten through t...

Meryaten- if in your opinion my pain has been one of the more severe cases from what youve heard about (and you know these mssg boards pretty darn well)- than pain is REALLY not an issue. When I get the bad pain, it really doesn't last more than 10 minutes- and when I say "bad pain" it cou...

wow

Brandy! I cannot believe how great you look. You honestly look less swollen than I did at two weeks- you should be so delighted. The changes in the profile shot are very noticable- in a good way! Your face looks younger for sure. I used the baby Tylenol as well during the first week. I was told to t...

check in

Yarr! Nice to hear from you- how's the ol' Jaw doing? Are you eating up a storm yet? I'm actually better today. Certain angles of lying in bed are really not good, and certain movements I make during the day are more sore...but its not bad today. Not complaint worthy. My prom is in two days, and Im ...

bad day

6 and a half weeks OK so today was a BAD day, which seems very strange after I've had such a pain free good week. I woke up at 5am this morning in agony, with super sharp pain going through my jaw. It subsided in about 10 minutes, and I went back to sleep. However, all day was very achy and I had t...
