Finally a picture! This is at 4 weeks, and probably a more flattering angle because you can't see the extent of the swelling from this one really, or the tightness of my face. Obviously compared to before its wonderful, so I won't complain at all. Go back at and look at Day 2, and its quite shocking...

I think that 5 Days is a good amount of time, but do you have a backup person who could come if you do find you need some help?

Those fees are absoultely ridiculous!
My surgery was done in Canada so my surgeon charged $3000, but there is no hospital fee here, so that was it.

I really hope you can find a better deal, or maybe find some coverage from the government? Don't give up yet!

I honestly thought I would be quicker recovering, but my body always takes longer than the average to heal...with my past history of surgeries and medical stuff. It always heals well, it just likes to take its sweet time at it. I know its impossible...

I'm almost 4 weeks post-op and my speech is completely understandable except for the odd word here and there that people have to clarify. My face is bizarre when I talk because of the numbness, and I have to work hard at making B's and P's understandable- but communicating is not an issue. I AM sore...

Yea I went to my homepathic lady to get some Bromelein...and she gave me this instead saying it will work better....? I apologize I read the wrong pamplet for what I said arnica was for- that was for a different vitamin.

Everyone said I looked better today after starting on the hypericum perforatum...so hopefully it will keep doing its 'thang'.
