Nice pics kate. I agree with Meryaten. Compared to the "before" pic your nose looks more tilted up. Dont know why but my nose is tilted slightly up aswell compared to pre-op. Also, when I was training I took a hard right hook/punch to the face that resulted in a slightly croocked nose. I n...

I am glad that you are doing so good kate! Thoes walks really helped me, so keep them up. I got a headache the first time, after that it felt really good, aspecially for my face. Its kinda wierd, I used to take the walks after midnight so I felt abit like a good-guy-monster-type from the movies. :P ...

Thats very good news kate0310, congrats!! :D About the stiches catching up on the breaces, I personally have not experienced that. Think it depends on how good the work was done by the surgeon, or perhaps the conditions did not allow the surgeon to make it more compact. Althoug when I pulled out one...

I stopped using pain meds during the day at day 5, because the pain went away when I was not lying down and in light activity. I am one week post-op now and I only use pain meds before bedtime. I must say, today is my best day so far. The turnaround was very sudden! So kate0310 if your turnaround ha...

Hey yall! Lark, I am so sorry to hear bout that! That would be my worst nightmare now, and I so hope I, or anyone else has to go trough an infection! Still, I have heard that taking the srews out helps usually all the time, and its a easy prosedure. So I think you will be just fine. Besides I kindof...

Hey kate, I am actually feeling better today. Less pain and it is a bit easier to do stuff with my mouth. Less stiffness in other words. As for the swelling, my upper jaw is the same, if not abit more swollen then yesterday. Ihave also noticed some swelling on the sides, on eye height. The swelling ...

Tnx Meryaten. As for the information from the surgeon there was not much to get out of him. I saw him two times and did not get to ask alot of questions. Apperently the whole surgery was preformed by several surgeons, and when they came to see me, they were talking to eachother rather then me. I kin...

I am now realising that "eating" demands a huge determination. Since the food is so liquid, it is digested very fast. Honestly I spend half my day eating, and despite my efforts I am almost constantly hungry. Although as Meryaten said, this varies from person to person. I am just the the k...
