Hi Purpleteeth, thanks for replying! I have had braces for one year now, they are wired ones (train tracks) with ceramic pieces (the more discreet option ; ) So far, I have had surgery twice. Once to remove my wisdom teeth and secondly to expose an adult tooth stuck in my palate, they are now pullin...

Cost of treatment in the US - New York
Hi, I currently live in Belgium but am hoping to move to the US within the next year. My treatment will be quite inexpensive to complete in Europe but i'm not sure if I want to stay that long and I have no idea how prices compare in the US, in particular New York? Any advice would be much appreciated!

Have heard of a variety of solutions (ball and chain, bracket etc..), not sure which delightful solution my orthodontist w...

Have never heard of lip thinning or face flattening as a result of having teeth remo...

One of my teeth (very close to the front of my mouth) is a baby tooth which didn’t come out naturally when I was a child. As a result the adult tooth is stuck in my pala...

Hi and thanks for the warm welcome, I’m the only one of my friends who have taken the plunge with adult braces (they all had their teeth straightened when kids) so it’s good to know I’m not alone! I have to admit I did feel like playing a hermit for a while until the swelling goes down and I m...

I got braces and a palate expander fitted 2 days ago and agree it absolutely kills! My orthodontist didn’t explain the procedure very well (not at all) and I’ve only just figured out the metal thing attached to the roof of my mouth isn’t part of the braces. I’m going back to see her and have...
