I have 2 elastics in now, only started on the 1st a month ago and the second 2 days ago but god they irrate me and are causing me pain.

I have to give myself a break every 5 hours or so during the day but if its really bad for you i would mention it.

I was told 18-24 months and 2 months in now and yep i am pleased with the progress so far especially on top although its slowing down a little now but hoping adjustment helps speed it up and only 4 weeks until i go back. Thats such a good idea about a photo shoot, i hate having my picture taken so i think thats what i will do when i get mine off, whenever that may be!

I had my first adjustment today and i now have an elastic on the right side of my mouth. He didn't seem to do a lot in the adjustment though, tightened a little and replaced a few ligs but thats it, going back in a month though for next one so he can keep things moving. Well a whole week in now and things are ok, no more broken ligs and still no pain apart from brackets rubbing (thank god for wax). Less than 24 hours in and i have managed to snap a ligature. Its on the tooth that is higher than all the others so its rubbing already and i put wax on it but the wax has snapped the ligature and now its got a sharp point on it. Ooopss just noticed that i have broken one of the ligatures already, the top bit is missing where i have been putting the dental wax on.

Well i am 19 hours in now and its sore and feels strange but not really in pain.
