Good for you!!!! I still can't take a bite out of anything...I have to cut or tear every piece. I was determined to eat a steak though, and I did even though it took me like an hour!

I was told not to chew gum, but my ortho never said not to drink soda plus they have coffee in the waiting room and when I asked about the cofee they said that it would be ok.

I figured out that it helped me to chew food between my back molars and jaw. At the 5th day I was back to being able to bite down, but I am still cutting my sandwhiches and things because it is hard to take a bite out of something.

I don't think that it is right that they put your braces on and said that you could pay the down payment using care credit and then after they get the system, they tell you that you have to pay the full amount if you use your card. I have had care credit for three years and have never had a problem ...
