I brush my teeth about two times a day. Sometimes, I'll use a proxy brush throughout the day if I have stuff stuck in my wires.

As for flossing. I do that practically EVERYDAY, usually at night. :)

Well, I was a bit content with my swag bag. Naturally, half of it got lost around the house (I replaced the items of course). - Oral B Travel Toothbrush - Orthodontic-cut Toothbrush (w/Christmas Tree Bristle on opp. side) - Wax - T-Shirt (Kinda cool lookin'.) - Toothbrush Head Cap (for traveling) - ...

Thanks Meryaten & KK.

My mom's doing great so far. It's nice knowing that her heart is properly functioning.

As for my teeth, I really can tell movement. I wish my other canine would come down. It's being a pill.

Ehh. I wasn't really nervous about my surgery. It wasn't something that I really obsessed over. I think the one time I had a panic attack was the morning of the surgery (I had to go to the hospital early  ), but after a few minutes of getting myself together, I was more anxious just to get it ...

Wow. It's been about a week since I've posted, so here's the low down. My mom was hospitalized all last week and underwent a double bypass heart surgery. It's been real hectic. I'm suprised I lasted a week without the internet. Other than that, I have noticed some teeth movement. Here's some picture...

sgguy - I have self-ligating brackets and, really, the only difference that I noticed (having had braces with bands before) was that I couldn't pick out band colors! I was all ready to pick out sweet colors when she said, "All done." I was really disappointed actually. hahaha That's stran...

Well, I have Damon brackets. Couldn't tell you how good they are as I have only had braces on for a little over a week.

Like, Meryaten said, "Don't sweat the brackets."

They all provide the same results.

Hey there! I had the same problem with spacers. Actually, I finally got use to them after the 5 or 6th day of having to wear them. As for the pain with braces... To be honest, I've had braces on for about a week now, and they are far from painful. They actually aren't that bad. You may be sore for a...

Congratulations on your new braces. I can relate on the "fang teeth" situation http://www.archwired.com/phpbb2/viewtopic.php?t=18830 . My canines are sort of up higher than yours and I'm patiently waiting for them to be brought down. It will happen soon, though. By the way, they look nice!...

Thank everybody. I am extremely stoked about the progress. Everything is working itself out.
To be honest, I was VERY suprised at how fast my central gap closed.

So I finally got the time to post some pictures up. These are most recently from today and boy, am I proud of my toothies. They're doing what I asked them to do. Although it's not going as quick as I would love for it to go, I am happy with what little results I do have. Thanks Kiwi for those tips. ...

Well, I finally had my top teeth braced on May 14. It didn't hurt, but my teeth were sensitive for the next 24 hours. They told me they were going to slowly start detaching my RPE (ie; the little metal arms). So, that made me happy. They decided to put powerchains on three of my front teeth and liga...

I had a palatal expander put in recently and can say that, yes, I, personally, have had change in facial structure. My cheeks are a little bit more defined and my smile was wider. However, it wasn't a major difference, but people who hadn't seen me in a while did notice. And it has affected me in a ...
