you may need a longer wire, one that will not pop out. asking them to put a lig on that might help as well.

hey

I'm sorry Lynn. But I consider accusations of not brushing my teeth to be highly insulting I care enough about my teeth to shell out the cost of braces - I'm not going to clean them?? Oh and I'm going to struggle with flossing tight, braced teeth, but not bother to brush first?? To suggest I do not...

Actually calculated out, the brush heads are not that expensive 2 heads for the elite = 30 bucks Without braces a head lasts 6 months according to the package with you should hange every three to four. Most tooth brushes are 2-3 bucks and are suggested you replace them every two months, evey month m...

Re: Dead Waterpik

I had my waterpik for 3 1/2 months and it died last night :? I've been reading that others have experienced the same thing with their waterpiks. I have been also reading that others here have been using the Interplak by Conair so I went out and bought one today. Those who have the Interplak please ...

Floss

get some of the glide threader floss, and you wil not look back. Each box has 30 individually wrapped pieces that have a threader at one end. My advice is to get used to putting you fingers in your mouth. A great deal of time can be saved once you learn how to move the floss For example when flossin...

Hmm, I might try those Glide threaders, right now all I use is my proxibrush....is that enough? The floss and proxibrush are in addition to other things. My routine is this: Brush with tooth brush Use smaller round brush to get in between brackets Floss Rinse -which used to be be with water pik but...

just get

those thread things are a pain. Do yourself a favor and get the glide threader floss. It is individually wrapped pre cut pieces that have a threader built in. This way you can throw a box in your bag for travel, a few in your purse and not have to worry about keeping, washing a threader on you all t...

Re: Coming into the home stretch - big square wire hurts!

So I'm approximately 20 months into my projected 24 month braces drama, and two days ago at the appointment they: - Removed my rounded wires - Slenderized my two upper front teeth - Replaced top wire with the heaviest-gauge square wire they have, with bends in it near the two front teeth to rotate ...

Re: Wire's Not All it's Cracked up to be

I have wire ties and wish I had ligs! These little monsters hurt. I admit they aren't coming off, but ligs don't rip your lip open when they come untucked from behind your archwire either. I'm glad I have them because I don't have to worry about loosing them, but I'm also glad that I have wax. And ...

Wire ties

are for problem teeth that do not want to move into line. they do not lose elasticity and are tighter. Thank goodness I only had one of those and it was for about 3 months.

I have a 24 on the top and a 20 on the bottom. The top is a square finishing wire and it was tight before the ligs were put on. I am not looking forward to the wire on the bottom as my bottom teeth are more sensitive.
