I'm going private and my orthodontist does different kinds of braces, but advised me my best option would be with Damons so going with those.

I didn't realise you could even get braces on the NHS anymore? Is it just for special cases?

Ready2go43 - I'm in Northern England so we generally get things cheaper up here! :lol:

I've had to cancel my appointment for x rays, impressions etc as I have an exam that day, so going early July for them now.

Yeah I've never seen it in any chemists over here, making a trip to the US in September so I'll stock up while I'm over there :lol:

Thanks - I'm assuming I'll be able to get wax from my orthodontist?

I'm going for my impressions and x rays in a few weeks, thats actually the bit i'm most dreading :lol:

Another UK Newbie

I've just been for my consultation with a private orthodontist, who's quoted me £2000 using Damon Braces on both arches. I did want tooth coloured appliances, or invisalign but my orthodontist feels Damons would work the best for me. I previously had braces when I was 15 (I'm now 25) and I'm hoping...
