Where do You get the braces that are v-shaped,made for braces? I am using a regular toothbrush and ruining the bristles. How often does everyone change their toothbrush if they are using a regular one? I also have an oral b one I use at night.

Now where they attached the wire to that back molar,my teeth are killing me.How can that make a difference with pain? It is only the thin archwire.I just got the braces.

I finally got it fixed.The wire ended in a bad place because i missing a tooth next to it.They gave me a longer wire and it goes right past the missing space and connects to the back molar.I asked them to file it down and they said they couldnt.But anyway it is fixed now my sores may heal.

thanks guys I figured it was the braces causing the teeth not to touch.Just thought i would ask.I am finally going to ortho for the wire that is poking the heck out of me.I hope they dont put that cemrnt on the end.It doesnt work.I wish they would just file it down.

16 weeks before my upper adjustment.

When i bite down, only my left upper and lower teeth touch.The right side doesnt.Is that because of the braces? It feels weird.They always touched before.

Well im going to ortho again for same wire that is poking me.It made a tiny little hole in my inner cheek.Last time they put this ball of cement at the end of it and it fell off the next day.I called today and told them I would like them to try something different.(Dont know what they can do) but so...

wouldnt know anything about big,bulky braces.I have the speed system braces and they are SOOO tiny. Good luck

When i had bottom brackets put on,i had a tech who was new.The other tech told her to put this stuff on my teeth and wait 4 minutes before rinsing it off.She waited like a minute and a half and started rinsing it off.The other tech told her it wasnt 4 minutes yet and she said by my watch it was.OMG ...

I asked my ortho if i would ever need elastics in the future and he said he didnt know.How does he not know? He said it is an adventure???i was just asking because i would like to know what my treatment involves,but i guess i will have to wait and see.

pixel witch how do you bend the wire? can you explain,maybe i can try.Its not going to affect the whole archwire.

I was also wondering how long it hurts to chew.I got bottoms on 8 days ago and some tweeth are still to sore to chew with?

No the wire isnt long enough to be clipped.It only takes the edge of the wire to cause pain.For all the money im paying,you think they would do more than to put a little ball of cement at the end.How stupid are they?

I am going to try and bend the wire alittle.I hope after awhile my mouth will be able to stan this.I am ready to say forget the braces.I dont want them anymore.Thank you everyone for all your advice.
