I have ceramics on my bottom teeth. But I wouldn't worry about it if I were you b/c it's unlikely that anybody can see your bottoms anyway.

hmm maybe your ortho didn't know what the heck he was doing? my braces didn't hurt. it was uncomfy for a bit but i wasn't in pain and didn't need any meds. that's so odd

I actually had one loosen -- upper first molar just last week. I made an appt with my ortho and the asst popped it right off, popped in 2 spacers, and I have to go back in two weeks to get a band put on that tooth. Update: As it turns out, that issue with my gums was due to an abscess. I chipped my front tooth as a child and have had a series of crowns covering it since I was about 9. I had a root canal done on this tooth as a teen about ten years ago and now there's a new abscess. So, I'm going to have to ha...

Well, my gums are still giving me trouble. It looks like there is some sort of cyst above my crown rather than swelling. If I squeeze it white fluid oozes out (ew). It isn't painful but I'm going to call both my ortho & dentist tomorrow.
