Ok I was wondering if you had any pics from before the gap was there??? I just had the 1st bicuspid on the right taken out and I am wondering how all this is going to work in the end. Esp. since he didn't remove one on the left side

Congrats 45!!
My son and I will be braced together as well! My braces go on tuesday and he gets a lower lingual arch. He already has the head gear. We should both be in them for about 20 months!!!

I had laughing gas for a bicupid last week, that was the best thing in the world. I wore my Ipod and let him do his thing. It was amazing!!! Maybe you could try a new dentist and ask for that (they still used the topical, which was a yummy pina colada, then novicaine )

I second the notion that those damn spacers hurt like crap. This is my 3rd week in them and I still have to go till the 26th. My teeth are tight, VERY tight!!!
By then those bands should slide on like a glove!!!

I was kinda under the impresion that to close a gap ( from an extraction )they would use a chain, But when I asked my ortho today he said something about maybe just using the spring coils.
Has anyone had the chains first and then springs? or reversed maybe?
