It has been two weeks.. over the weekend, I sprung a wire... in the back, had to go to the Ortho yesterday- where he says, "Wow... you've had a ton of movement!" So I got an adjustment after only two weeks. Here are my first week photos.... I haven't taken week two yet.. I'm getting ready ...

Female, age 36 living in Idaho. Braced 06/21/07 for the first time... I have clear ICE on the top and standard metal on the bottom. four extractions and jaw alignment due to TMJ.. hopefully no surgery after this..

Well, I can eat now.. well, nothing hard.. I knocked a wire loose and had to go back today.. but all is going better.

Thank you... One thing I'd like to add, is that they didn't bleed a lot.. just a little around where the bands were and when I flossed a little too hard.. Today at lunch I had some soft chow mein noodles and those were ok.. even had some chicken with it.. and yes, it did feel really good to chew.. T...

Thanks everyone. I just got my spacers this morning.. and I have no issues as of yet, but then again I have four gaping holes from my extractions and the Ortho said I probably won't feel a thing from them other than feeling like something is stuck.. which they do, but nothing like I thought. Anywho....

Just got my spacers today- June 11th... I get my braces June 21st. I had my extractions almost two weeks ago.. new to the site.. still terrified about this entire experience.
