I just got a flyer and a case of dental wax (because I asked for it). I guess you don't get all that fancy stuff when you don't have to pay for your treatment... (the costs are covered by the State; Norway's got some pretty cool rules when it comes to the public health system)

Putting in implants - does it hurt?

I'm getting four teeth implants some time next summer and was wondering - has anyone here done it? Does it hurt? How does it feel afterward, will it be swollen or uncomfortable in any way (or will it feel perfectly normal)?

I'm looking forward to eating corn on the cob without having loads of junk stuck between (and on) my braces all the time... Also, there's the matter of finally having the amount of teeth I should've had but never got. Oh, and singing in concert without worrying if someone's going to notice my teeth....
