My "before" photos

Just a quick update on my blog, I have just added the series of photos my ortho took of my teeth before I started treatment.

I find them quite scary to look at now and I am pleased to report things are looking much better today!

Invisible Tourist's blog

Hi there I have been wearing Invisalign for just over a year but I only recently came across this site. I have also been keeping an Invisalign blog since I started treatment. Here's the link: http://invisibletourist.blogspot.com/ About me: I'm male, 41, living in London, UK but seeing an excellent o...

Hi Molly It doesn't sound too serious but if you are worried I think you should speak to your dentist. Is this something that happens in the first few days of a new set of aligners or all the time? If it's just a few days, I would say it's normal. I know exactly what you mean about not being able to...

Hostel

I'm afraid "Pirates of the Caribbean" is about as scary a film as I can watch nowadays, so no I haven't seen it. I have a friend from Bratislava who delighted in telling me all about it though. Don't let that put you off visiting Budapest - it's a blast. I implied earlier that Ryanair fly ...

Invisalign

I live in the UK but started Invisalign treatment in Budapest a year ago. I am being charged 5000 euros versus £5000 for a course of about 30 aligners. By the time you've paid for flights and accommodation, you are not saving any money really but you will have had many great weekends in Budapest. I...

Invisalign costs

I got quoted GBP 5,000 (nearly USD 10,000) for Invisalign treatment with about 30 sets of aligners in the centre of London, UK. Since I have friends in Budapest, Hungary where medical costs are generally lower, I looked into treatment there. I am being treated by a really good orthodontist there who...

Cleaning

I soak mine in denture cleaning tablets while I am eating dinner (Steradent is a brand here in the UK). It's cheaper than RetainerBrite but not quite as effective. But it does the job for two weeks.

Lisping

I am on set 17 out 30 and my lisp is still really bad with the top aligner in. Two colleagues at work have commented on it so I don't wear the top aligner in the office anymore. If I concentrate quite hard when speaking and move my tongue back in my mouth, I don't lisp but it's very hard to do this ...
