Ive been wondering lately, with impacted canines is it nessicary to wear a retainer after the treatment is done? I dont have any other problems..tooth wise..
How long do you think you would need to wear a retainer with my problem?

I have two metal bands around my molars (which hurt horribly and prevent me from chewing-does this sensation go away? Ive only had my braces a few days) anyway, i have this other wire that connects the two bands at the back of my teeth and its kinda big and gets in the way of me swallowing food, but...

I did actually go to two other dentists
But my dentist is great, its like impossible to get in with this guy so Im not worried about his competence and money is not a factor.
