white strips

I have always had good results with the Crest White Strips. I usually tell the most difference after the first one, and don't always use the whole kit, just save them till I think I need to do it again. I just got my braces off yesterday, and though they looked better than I expected, I used a strip...

NAKED AT LAST :-)

:D 27 months and one day! I thought I could see through the brackets and know how I would look...but I was still surprised! I said :those aren't my teeth!" I am SOOOOOO happy with the outcome! Just one teeny space where the gap was and that is OK with both of us. My dentist may be able to do so...

retainers?

I am getting my braces off in 2 weeks, and I can't imagine the retainers being any worse. At least you don't have to dig the food off your teeth and brackets after every meal!! And you can take them out for short periods of time (eating, brushing, photos, etc) I think my ortho uses the clear (Essex)...

You go girl! I know the feeling, I get mine off in 13 days!! I have been braced since August 04...It will be 27 months and 1 day when they come off! I can't wait, but I guess I will, I have waited this long. I am much older, but glad I finally did it. I won't recognize a good smile...even though I t...

comfort cover

It is called "Comfort Cover for Braces". No manufacturer is on the package. I have a photo, but don't know how to post it! It is from my digital, and saved as JPEG. If you can guide me through it, I'll be glad to show you. It looks like the smooth king, with a channel. Sort of like the &qu...

Comfort Cover for Braces

My ortho tech gave me some of these to cover a large gap with a wire. That didn't really bother me. But today I got my lowers, and they are metal, and so rough they were tearing up my lip! I tried this and it is SO COMFORTABLE! It is a clear vinyl strip with a lip top and bottom, and it covers the b...

Thanks...I tried the Glide Threader floss and it is better than the Oral B!
Still not EASY, but better. I'm sure practice will improve it too!

flossing is a pain!!

has anybody found a good way to floss? I don't like the plastic needle threader things. I tried Oral B super floss...it is too hard to pull through.
I want to try the Glide threaders. Mostly I just use the waterpik.
