Well, in my case it was such a tiny bit of shaping that I doubt if it would have made any difference if he had waited until after the retainer impressions. It's truly amazing how little they take to make such a big difference. What kind of retainers are you getting?

Hi all! :-1 I did Invisalign on just the top. My ortho said I could do just them IF the molds showed there was room and it wouldnt throw off my bite. I got a price of 5400 for both or 3900 for just the top. After a year of it I was really glad i chose just the top. I felt like it was 1/2 the hassle....

my ortho was afraid the gap between my front 2 teeth (4.5mm) would return without wearing a retainer 24-7. So he put the bonded on just those teeth and thought the hawley at night would keep the rest of my teeth in their assigned spots LOL.

I snorkeled in them for the main reason i was neck deep in the ocean before i ever thought about it. Wasnt a problem for me at all. I was just very careful putting the snorkle in, teeth were a tad sore later.

Just a heads up.....this is a REAL deal.....I did a survey for them and got my gift code for the amazon gift certificate! In, fact I was asked to do a 2nd one and this one is worth $35. I'm waiting on it now!!!!! Got no spam from it either!
