mine did that after the initial fitting, whenever i 'puffed' my cheeks out i'd hear a prong and feel the wire unclip from my inner cheek, was not pleasant.

After reading the board a little im under the impression the first 2 months are the time when most movemenet occurs and the months following it are when the teeth are 'set' in place... i may be totally off here but im starting to get a little paranoid. I have a bite plate to stop my 'bite' removing the brackets. I dont think its a good thing if your upper teeth are hitting your brackets as they could be chipped off.

Way i see it is that your getting the braces fitted to better yourself. If you are getting braces you arent comfortable with your teeth to begin with (at least i wasn't) so it doesn't matter because i'd be embarrassed without braces just the same, at least now it shows i've taken steps to correct my...
