its pretty hard feeling ' normal ' not wearing the trays..i feel like they should be in!

btw, ive got trays for retainers so i may wear them a bit from time to time at work, just to be safe, lol..

Been about 20 wks longer than it was supposed to be due to a lower jaw refinement ( funny, i didnt even want the lower done ) but im finally finished..really very happy with the results- if i can, ill post a before and after here in the next day or so.. good luck to those still in and those just beg...

i had it too- kinda bad for a while..the dentist did xrays and stuff because i thought it was coming from a crown that was moving- they never found out what was causing it..like i said- i thought it was from moving crowns.

i got food poisoning about a month into my treatment- those things combined caused me to lost 15 to 20lbs- thats not good- im a powerlifter and dropped a class. ive gained maybe 8lbs back.

honestly, at this point, i feel funny when they are out. i had some issues- most of us do at one time or another- but in time you get so its almost second nature.

im the same as Aussie- no issues yet, knock wood.

ha! maybe! nope- nothing more for the top exept to get the damn speed bumps off..and on top of the 10 more trays i got another speed bump on the bottom which makes a total of 4..the funny thing is, i didnt think i needed/ wanted any work on the bottom. i just looked at some pics i took day one- wow,...

saw the dentist yesterday to get my refinement trays..top is about done and that was my major issue..they still look ' off ' due to the speed bumps still being there but over all looking good. for the bottom? 10 sets :shock: so 20 weeks worth..what kinda pisses me off is insivalign had me down for 2...

im in the same spot as the OP...got my new molds taken about 5 weeks ago so im about due for the refinements..looking pretty good as is, but totally need some tweeking- im up for it

very subtle on the top...the major fix up needs just a bit more push to it and 4 on the bottom never totally got straight- they are still angled to the right- shouldnt be to much to it really.

in my case the first 3 days were important to have them in pretty much all the time- after that first week i could slack just a bit.

yeah- you get used to them...but im on my last few trays and i still have a lisp from time to time- esp if i have to raise my voice. a few people notice but not many..

ill try to post when its all done..i can really see a difference in the tooth i really wanted to fix- funny, the bottom, which should have been waaay easier to fix didnt respond as well- plus i was ' done ' on the bottom since about 20 weeks agoi..i think im getting the permanent retainer as well..t...
