Hi ellie :-1

Fantastic that you have taken the plunge  great photos.

I've been braced now for just over 12 weeks and the progress is amazing.

Keep taking the photos and you will soon notice a difference.

Take care

Hi There. I've been braced (uppers) for 12 weeks now. At first I could not see a difference until I had my first adjustment 6 weeks later. My problem was due to overcrowding so I had to have 2 upper pre molars extracted. The gaps are closing slowly, but I'm very happy with the results so far. I know...

You can hardly tell you have braces...Lucky you!
Thanks, but I think its mainly due to the soft focus of the camera phone and also the fact that I'd just had an adjustment, so the ligs are brand new. Give it a couple of weeks of coffee and cury and they become a lot more noticeable.

11 weeks progress Pictures !!

Hi guys. I've finally plucked up the courage to post my pics  The first one was taken 2 days after being braced (my lips are quite swollen  ) but thankfully they went back to normal after a couple of days. http://i239.photobucket.com/albums/ff254/mrstraceymay/15aug20071.jpg The next pictu...

Hi Gwynneth! My experience has varied after each vist. When I had my brace fitted I felt no pain, no pressure, nothing and was paranoid that the wire would not make a difference. When I went for my first adjustment I could tell that things had started to move. I went for my second adjustment 2...

Hi Lilmissmup. Just thought I would let you know my experience to date after reading this thread. After years of looking at my teeth and being unhappy with them (my two front teeth crossed over like a pair of crossed finger lol) I finally took the plunge and asked my dentist to refer me to the ortho...

Hey Steadfast :-1 Cool photos. I liked the one where you still have the dots on your upper ceramics. I didn't realise that I had them on mine until I got home and had a proper look. Then panicked thinking that they were permanent lol I've had my upper ceramics on for over a week, and to date no pain...

Can I ask you Skintz, how long was it before you noticed any movement?

Cheers Tracey
